CRANBERRY SEED OIL
(Vaccinium macrocarpon)
Used in our products for its ability to help improve moisture retention, cranberries are native to the peat wetlands of North America. Rich in skin-plumping essential fatty acids and nourishing vitamin E, our oil is produced by cold-pressing the seeds of the bright, red berries.
ACACIA TREE EXTRACT
(Acacia senegal)
A plant based alternative collagen from the acacia tree – mimics the benefits of collagen to leave skin looking firmer, plumper and moisturised.
ROSEHIP SEED OIL
(Rosa rubiginosa)
Famous for its excellent moisturising properties, rosehip seed oil is rich in essential fatty acids and helps enhance the barrier function of the skin while improving moisture retention.

I needed this!
I’ve been using Liz Earle for nearly 20 years, my skin has changed as I’ve aged now mid forties I need something extra and this was it! So glad I upgraded my skin has gone from dry and problematic due to hormones to the glowing healthy look I had using Liz Earle in my thirties!

Silky skin
Wow!! What can I say about this product. The beautiful smells, the silky texture when applying on the skin is just pure luxury, once washed off you are still left with that soft silky feel. My skin feels indulged. I like to use this at night time to get the benefits over night. A really beautiful product and can't wait to order another one. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I’ve been using Liz Earle and their fantastic products for a lot of years. So splashed out and bought this cleansing balm.
I love the cleanse and polish and especially the cleanse and glow cleansers but unfortunately I dislike this. The texture is luxurious but I find it very oily to remove I have to double cleanse as it leaves an oily residue even with a hot cloth. Smell isn’t that great. Its price is too high for what it is as it’s not a patch on the Elemis. Great idea but needs some refinement. I won’t purchase again

A step up from Cleanse and Polish
I've used Cleanse and Polish - the original - for years now. But I love the superskin serums and moisturisers so I decided to make the change. It's just fab! I love the smell, the consistency of the balm and the its ability to take off even the most stubborn mascara.

I started using this a few weeks ago, having loved cleanse and polish for years but feeling my skin was a little dry. This is a lovely product, my face feels nourished and definitely softer.

Love this product!
I have been using this for 2 weeks and my skin feels great. The balm melts with the warmth of your hands and glides onto the skin leaving it super clean. Smells lovely and a natural herby scent so suitable for men too. I alternate with Cleanse and Polish (not sure why) but my skin feels great!

Fantastic product
I bought this when it was first released and loved it. Now on my second jar. Skin looks plumper and glows. I have been a fan of cleanse of polish for 26 years but this is wonderful for mature skin

I need anti ageing plus uncomogenic as I have large pores and easily get congestion! Is any brand suitable for both of these skin concerns?

Would you recommend using this to remove makeup before using the cleanse and polish or after using the cleanse and polish to remove makeup as a second cleanse?
As I don't wear make up, I am not able to answer your question. The jury is still out on this new product. I am a big fan of cleanse and glow but thought I would give this a go. It feels lovely on the skin but no difference in appearance of my face

What is the best way to clean the cloth with the advanced balm, thank you.
Hello I pop my cloth in with a white wash on a 30 degree setting. Non bio washing powder as this is just what we use, same way I wash the muslin cloths . Either line dry or by a radiator, either way it is lovely and soft and as new again.

Both products contain acacia tree extract, which is a plant-based alternative to collagen, this helps to improve the look and feel of skin that's experienced collagen loss.
All our formulations are made as mild and gentle as possible, and all products are assessed and approved by independent safety experts, prior to placing them on the market. We are aware that any individual can react to the most natural of ingredients in the same way as we all can to certain foodstuffs, we do recommend that you carry out a patch test when using a product for the first time.

Do you use this instead of cleanse or polish? Or before?

Our Superskin Advanced Nourishing Cleansing Balm can be used as part of a double cleanse, with our Cleanse & Polish. We wouldn't recommend using our Cleansing Balm to remove eye makeup, so you may wish to use this as the second cleanse.

Is this balm suitable for daily ( twice daily use) and does it compliment all other superskin products?

We can confirm that our Superskin Advanced Nourishing Cleansing Balm is suitable for use as part of your morning and evening routine. Both of our new Superskin Advanced products are infused with the uplifting scent of natural neroli which allows them to compliment the Superskin range.
