We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant PR Manager, to join this fast-paced and dynamic PR Team. Supporting the Global PR Manager, this role is a great opportunity for a PR practitioner to work in a busy communications team of one of the UK’s best-known beauty brands.

We are looking for a talented communicator, full of energy, ideas and motivated to deliver great results to join the Liz Earle Beauty Co. team as Assistant PR Manager. You’ll be joining us at and exciting time, helping drive the brand through a period of fast paced change and driving innovation for one of the UK’s best-known beauty brand.

Working across the business with teams including Marketing, Social, Stores, Sales and with WBA colleagues, the pace is fast moving with wide-ranging projects being delivered in a complex environment of multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Role responsibilities:

  • Support the Global PR Manager in the creation, delivery and implementation of effective PR campaigns, on time and to budget, that meet business objectives.
  • Work with the external PR agency to drive PR through the most appropriate channels, ensuring that business needs are delivered.
  • Understand commercial priorities and identify where PR can support these.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge of relevant media, offline and online, to ensure all opportunities are optimised.
  • Develop and own relationships with internal colleagues, including Group Communications, Marketing and Category teams.
  • Maintain accurate reports of all global media activity and providing regular and detailed evaluation of media coverage.
  • Oversee day to day running of the PR department and ensure key coverage is communicated to the business.

Who are we looking for?

  • A graduate, or of graduate calibre with appropriate work place experience.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in beauty PR.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) skills.
  • Have a great understanding of all Social Media channels and influencers.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills to influence stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Be proactive, highly enthusiastic about our industry, creative and can work well independently and as part of a vibrant busy team.
  • Detail oriented with great time management skills.
  • Experience in organising press events and launches.
  • Ability to manage a busy workload, dealing with a range of priorities through effective time management.
