We are currently looking for a Web Content Editor to join us on a fixed term contract basis to cover a maternity leave. Leading and developing the content plan and calendar for the Liz Earle Ecommerce site, you’ll be responsible for informative and engaging content that meets our commercial objectives supporting new product launches, online exclusives and gifting to mention but a few. Equipped with a deep understanding of online customer journey, you’ll ensure quality content and continuous review and optimisation of performance and conversion. So, what is this role all about?
You'll be responsible for building, maintaining and delivering the Liz Earle content and activation plan across our ecommerce platform. You’ll ensure hero, hub and hygiene content is optimised to support brand strategy and commercial KPIs. This includes close liaison with marketing, creative and copy teams to develop content and assets (e-spot, banners, articles, videos etc.) to influence purchase decisions through the digital customer experience. You’ll also be the onsite guardian, ensuring that style, layout, imagery and copy are all in line with brand guidelines and support our SEO strategy. Additionally, you continually consult with the Data Insights team to measure and evaluate, performance and conversion and based on customer behaviours present learnings and recommendations on improvements for the online customer experience. You'll also work cross functionally with internal and external teams to support our eCommerce platform to deliver short and long-term enhancement plans.
And, who are we looking for?
Someone with relevant experience across Web Content creation and management. You will be educated to Graduate standard and possess knowledge in marketing or business-related ecommerce. You’ll have previous experience in a similar role driving online content plans that ensure engaging customer journey and experience that meets commercial objectives and delivers brand moments. Your technical expertise in Ecommerce includes thorough understanding of Content Management systems (ideally WCS or Core Media) combined with a basic understanding of HTML and web publishing. Additionally, experience in web layout, information architecture and content design and proofing are important.
A diplomatic team player, you’ll have vast experience working across multi-disciplinary teams, engaging and influencing stakeholders. With strong commercial acumen and unflappable approach, you work effectively in a fast-based world of premium beauty retail.
