Share your story to win

We’ve always been a brand with women at the helm, and our heart. Our co-founders; our 800 female colleagues; and you, our customers; are a living testament to what can be achieved when women work together.
So, in honour of International Women’s Day, we want to celebrate and share your stories of the woman (or women!) who has supported you. Whether it be your best friend, a manager, or a family member; we want to hear how they helped you succeed.
We’ll be sharing 5 of our favourite stories on Facebook throughout the week until Sunday 11th March, rewarding the winners with our Spring Blooms Collection, a selection of botanical beauty essentials worth up to £117*.
So how do you enter? It’s simple – send us your inspirational stories to firstname.lastname@example.org by midnight, Thursday 8th March to be in with a chance to win.
As a little inspiration, we’ve gathered some stories of our own…
Caroline & Sarah’s story
Our wonderful Ambassadors, Caroline Archer and Sarah Carr, have been friends since they first met behind the scenes of QVC over 6 years ago. Sharing the pressures of broadcasting, a passion for naturally active skincare and a star sign, here they talk the importance of their friendship and the support they give each other.
“What has always struck me about Sarah is her natural, kind nature. She is wholly without artifice – what you see is what you get.
Her kindness is what inspires me most. She always notices when I’m over-stretched and quickly steps in to help me, finding the right moment to quietly ask after my eldest daughter (who has special needs and goes through periods of great difficulty in her life), or remembering my favourite healthy snacks on busy studio days.
It’s a friendship of the very best kind – it doesn’t require work and we always simply pick up where we left off.”
Caroline Archer, Brand Ambassador
“Simply put – I would not be Sarah Carr without Caroline Archer. We first met when I went to QVC to support Caroline with some training behind the scenes, where we ended up sitting in the canteen chatting about our love for the brand, products and customers. I remember leaving totally in awe of this incredible woman and with one goal – to present on QVC alongside Caroline Archer!
Caroline inspires me every day, in both a personal and professional sense, and learning from her has been invaluable. From patiently mentoring me on QVC and feeding back on every solo show I present, to sharing dating stories, Caroline is patient, understanding, honest and always pushes me to be my best.”
Sarah Carr, Lifestyle Ambassador
As our Technical Director, Julie works with a talented team of formulation experts to ensure our products are of the highest quality and make a genuine difference to your skin. An inspirational woman in her own right, here she tells the story of the woman who has been her mentor for the past 20 years.
“The biggest mentor in my life is my sister-in-law Rachel. She’s a hugely inspirational woman; running her own multi-million-pound construction company (which for a woman is fairly rare!) while also being an amazing mum. She’s been a mentor to me throughout my career – prepping me for all my job interviews and advising me on any kind of work issue I’ve ever had, while always being totally honest with me – even when I don’t want to hear it!
I also love the way she’s bringing up my niece, who’s now nine. She has taught her that women can be inspirational, successful role models and has instilled confidence in her from an early age. I find it truly refreshing to see such a great example of a woman who proves that we really can have it all – whatever that may be.
An aspiration of mine in life is to be a role model to someone else, like Rachel is to me.”
We are immensely proud of our incredible Customer Advisors and this customer story about one of our Boots teams is truly inspirational.
“I’ve said it before but honestly can’t say it enough, your team in the Boots Sheffield Meadowhall store are fantastic. My mum has used your products for many, many years and through being a sometimes-lonely stay at home mum myself during the week, I’ve come to know the ladies very well. They always make a fuss of my 18 month old, have carried out treatments on your event days and sometimes change my times last minute to adjust to my son’s schedule.
They’ve given me so much skincare advice and help with regards to routines and products – this team of ladies you have working for you go above and beyond on a daily basis and my other half and I can’t praise them enough. Bryson (my son) calls them all Auntie.
I took this snap of Bryson with Sarah and Sheena after delivering his Valentine’s card to the lovely ladies in his life. Please note his Liz Earle coloured cardigan his Nannan made him specially!
The world would be a better place if there were more of these ladies in it.”
Now over to you! Send us your story of inspiration to email@example.com for your chance to win.
