Sarah’s Golden Rules for a Gorgeous Glow

I recently returned from a wonderful holiday visiting family and friends whilst also catching some waves. Refreshed and rejuvenated, I loved the sun-kissed, radiant glow I had picked up from swimming in the ocean, going for long beach walks and picnics. Yet now that I’m back to work and into the swing of home life, keeping my radiance topped up always proves tricky, and I bet I’m not the only one struggling. Here are some of my personal tips and tricks for sustaining that healthy flush of colour, long after the holiday ends.

Summer skin saviours

There’s nothing I hate more than if my skin starts to get dry and lacklustre – it’s so important to make sure it stays hydrated, especially if the weather has been warm. I always find that a simple 3-step routine is the perfect antidote to parched skin, and our Cleanse & Polish™ Hot Cloth Cleanser is the ideal starting point. Enriched with cocoa butter to help soften skin, it gently cleanses without drying skin out further, and the pure cotton cloth gently buffs away dead skin cells to refresh your holiday glow. Follow with Instant Boost™ Skin Tonic to soothe and refresh, then give skin an extra hit of hydration by finishing with Superskin™ Moisturiser – both are packed with brilliant botanicals for helping ward off dry and dull skin, including   borage  ,  rosehip  and cranberry oils.

Top tip: Try Superskin™ Concentrate as an overnight miracle to replenish and rebalance your skin – it’s one of my can’t-leave-the-house-without products.

Shower power

Although a warm bath is where I love to spend some ‘me’ time after a yoga session or fitness class, having a shower feels more revitalising. For a full-body cleanse, I swear by Orange Flower Botanical Body Wash as it’s laden with skin conditioning ingredients, such as soothing oat extract, and is divinely scented with sweet orange essential oil. I love the uplifting fragrance – it immediately transports you to warmer climes – just what you need if you’re feeling tired on a rainy day! Once a week, I do a thorough body exfoliation to buff away dead skin cells. I us exfoliating gloves to focus on problem areas, followed with a rich moisturiser to leave you glowing from top-to-toe.

Liquid assets

A good liquid bronzer is always in my make up kit – it means you can get that flush of colour while keeping your skin hydrated at the same time. If you’re prepping for an evening look and desire more coverage, then why not try a pearl-size amount of Sheer Skin Tint™ SPF 15 – then apply. It’s an easy way to make sure your skin looks radiant all night long.
