As Retail Recruiter, you will be responsible for timely recruitment service across Retail, including supporting our teams across John Lewis, Boots and Direct Stores. You will be focussed on delivering a seamless candidate journey attracting and engaging exceptional talent to our brand in partnership with your retail stakeholders on the field. You will work in close collaboration with your recruitment colleagues and the wider HR team to ensure smooth onboarding of new team members while shifting and screening a high volume of candidates weekly. You will undertake intense diary management, co-ordinating a large volume of candidates, interviews, store approvals and offers while ensuring consistency and fairness of the processes at all times. Additionally, you will ensure all activity is tracked, recorded and appropriately communicated while working within the parameters of established KPIs and Service Level Agreements.
So who are we looking for?
Simply a candidate with previous experience in a Recruitment Resourcer or Recruitment Advisor capacity, either in-house or agency. It is essential that you are used to managing a high volume of vacancies at any given time while keeping yourself organised. You will be a positive and self-motivated individual with excellent communication and influencing skills along with the confidence to build and maintain relationships with hiring managers. You will be a natural organiser with the ability to manage conflicting priorities efficiently while remaining unflustered under pressure. An excellent telephone manner is essential as you will be delivering a high volume of weekly telephone-based screening activity to shortlist candidates for face-to-face interviews with line managers. Additionally, you will have a good command of Microsoft Outlook Calendar to book and co-ordinate all interview activity along with competency across Word and Excel. You will thrive in an environment that allows you to own your area of responsibility while working closely with the wider team to ensure consistency of recruitment offering nationally. You will be comfortable with a fixed term contract until the end of February 2019 and in a position to fully commit for the full duration.
