Purchase Ledger Assistant

We’re looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join the Liz Earle Finance team on a fixed term contract basis. So, what is this role all about?
As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you’ll be working as a part of a friendly and fast paced team. Key responsibilities will include processing purchase ledger invoices to ensure costs are efficiently and accurately keyed into the Sage accounts. Additionally, you’ll also be responsible for reconciling the company bank accounts as well as processing and reconciling all cash for the foreign accounts. You’ll also process expense claims ensuring accurate input to Sage and chase stakeholders for appropriate documentation as and when required. To ensure smooth operation of our transactional finance function, you will additionally work as a part of a team keeping on top of other admin duties for the department such as opening post, reconciling supplier statements, filing and other month end tasks.

And, who are we looking for?
A candidate with previous experience in accounts or admin environment, and an excellent attention to detail. Further training on purchase ledger specific duties can be provided. Good working knowledge of Excel is essential, and the ability to pick up additional systems such as Sage will also be required. Otherwise, it is key that you have a customer focused approach, along with friendly and positive attitude. You’ll enjoy a close-knit team environment working within a busy open plan office whilst ensuring speed and utmost accuracy in processing high volume of data.
