  • Ryde, Isle of Wight
  • Full-time

Thinking about your future? Inspired by a career not just a job?

Don’t miss your opportunity to become part of a great British brand!

We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for a candidate planning to pursue a Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship to kick-start their career in the Liz Earle Packaging Team. With the structured training programme in place and a passionate bunch of colleagues to work with, this is a great opportunity to join a truly inspirational, award-winning premium beauty brand.

So, what’s packaging all about?
Our Packaging Development Team is responsible for ensuring the best possible components are developed for the Liz Earle products. This could be anything from outer packaging to the bottles, caps, pumps and other parts that make up the overall product. Our packaging is designed to protect the product and to deliver the best performance while minimising its impact upon the environment.

As a Packaging Apprentice for this highly technical and specialist team you will provide overall admin support while learning on the go! Your day-to-day duties will include inputting and maintenance of Packaging Team documents and files, attending meetings and taking notes, coordinating and facilitating communication between our Packaging Team and other internal partners such as Quality, Formulation, Marketing and Supply and Operations, as well as our external supplier partners.

You will have one study day per week attending your college course to work towards successfully completing the Level 3 qualification in Business Administration. On the job, you will learn not only your day-to-day admin duties but gain skills and experience on the more technical requirements specific to the packaging industry. You will, for example, have the opportunity to take measurements, to compare colour tolerances and to understand the implications of appropriate packaging and testing for transit to mention but a few.

So, who are we looking for?
An organised self-starter with desire and readiness to learn! You will have GCSE grades A to C or equivalent in Maths and English, along with good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook or other email. A good base level of numeracy and analytical skills will be essential along with people skills and attention to detail. With positive attitude and ambition to learn and always do your best, you will operate within the remit of our Precious Recipe − We Care More, We Never Settle, We Are One Team.

What can we offer you in return?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s fastest growing premium skincare brands, while being part of our Global WBA family. You will have the pleasure of working within a highly technical and skilled team of experts in a very special Isle of Wight based business. You will have the opportunity to learn on the job and challenge yourself while learning the ins and outs of fast-paced beauty retail! With the support of a Level 3 Business Administration course combined with the structured on-the-job training, you will work towards realising your potential as a highly effective administrator while building up your technical skills to enable you to embark upon a career in technical/ packaging disciplines in the future. We’ve got plans for you, so are you ready?

In addition to our investment on your development and the appropriate apprenticeship rate, our benefits include, but are not limited to, a generous holiday allowance, contributory pension, life insurance, 50% personal product discount and a goodie box each month! This is your chance to be part of something special. #joinlizearle
