A fantastic career opportunity has come up for a Junior Software Tester at Liz Earle. Joining our IT testing team on a contract basis, the role will be to support an ongoing Systems update across our order processing system. All hands-on deck, you’ll jump into help with running of tests on a new version of the software, feeding back to the team leads and recording results. So, what is this role all about?

You’ll be providing an internal service to our IT, Customer Centre and Fulfilment teams. You will tackle logical problems and issues via robust IT Testing service. This includes executing manual tests, recording results and providing summaries of work done. You will raise software defects and feedback to team leads accordingly. 


And, Who are we looking for?

Someone with good problem-solving skills and an interest in IT testing. Previous testing experience is not essential, however, willingness to learn about software applications and systems will be required. Overall, you’ll enjoy taking responsibility for issues and investigating through to resolution. You’ll be IT literate on MS Word and Excel with good communication skills including written form to document and maintain test scenarios. Personable and friendly you remain calm under pressure and build effective relationships with peers and the wider IT team. Diligent with systematic and organised approach to tasks you’ll enjoy detailed work and a step by step approach.
