We are looking for a Junior Demand Planner to join our Supply and Operations Team in Ryde. Responsible for the forecasting process used for business planning, you will play a key role in the development of demand plans to support our business planning processes. So, what is this role all about?

As a Junior Demand Planner, you are responsible for developing and maintaining a SKU level forecast for rolling 12-month period for all channels. You’ll work effectively with key internal stakeholders (Commercial, Marketing, Finance and Projects) to gain input to develop the overall forecast including taking part in monthly forecast meetings. You’ll report status versus agreed KPIs, providing analysis and driving actions plans. Additionally, you’ll manage forecast for new, discontinued and promotional lines to assist with inventory management by optimising cost. Reporting to a Senior Demand Planner, you will be part of a close-knit team of Demand and Inventory Planners working on continuous improvement agenda in relation to development of appropriate systems, tools and processes.

 

And, who are we looking for?

A highly numerical individual with a knack for numbers and attention to detail. Ideally, you’ll have experience in a role that requires data management and high levels of accuracy. A knowledge of wider supply chain functions would be highly beneficial.

A self-motivated and results driven individual with first class interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, you will communicate at ease at all levels. Confidence in using Excel with a love for numbers – functions, formulas and V look ups are your thing and patterns and trends excite you.
