We’re looking for an experienced Ingredients Buyer on a fixed term contract basis to undertake responsibility for building and delivering our global raw ingredients and sustainable sourcing strategy that helps to mitigate risk in the supply chain whilst maintaining quality and managing costs. So, what is this role all about?
Responsible for our global raw ingredients sourcing strategy you will ensure transparency of supply chain, traceability across all our ingredients with specific focus on our Naturally Active ingredients, ensuring ethical standards across the whole supply chain. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our raw materials sourcing strategy and operational execution are reflective of our brand ethos – ultimately managing risk to the business. You will own relationships with key raw ingredients suppliers with particular emphasis on ensuring continuous supply of critical ingredients and developing the supply base. Additionally, you will work closely with our Walgreens Boots Alliance colleagues on global projects. The role will involve high levels of cross-functional working including collaboration with our formulation team for research and innovation, brand team for delivery of compelling messaging and finance in relation to our raw materials budget. 

And, who are we looking for?
An experienced Ingredients Buyer with FMCG/ Brand/ Retail/ Food background and experience managing a raw materials budget. A skilled relationships manager, you will build and develop relationships at ease internally and externally. You are experienced in building relationships with contract manufacturers and ingredients suppliers whilst excelling in working effectively in cross functional team environment. You have an analytical mind with a flair for troubleshooting and the ability to identify and resolve issues and risks with pace. Additionally, you are well versed and passionate about our sustainable sourcing agenda.Furthermore, you will continuously operate within the remit of our Precious Recipe:
