Working within a team of Digital experts you will be leading and implementing the attribution, forecasting, optimisation and performance evaluation of digital marketing strategies whilst delivering actionable recommendations to the business. As a Marketing Effectiveness Manager your key responsibilities will include digital planning and forecasting along with associated reporting on effectiveness. You will develop a tag management strategy aligned to web analytics, marketing attribution and behavioural marketing and work with the wider digital team to test and consolidate actionable insights on creative, campaigns, channels and audience. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for automated and dynamic CRM strategies to grow and maintain the customer database through the development of activation, retention, loyalty and reactivation programmes. You will lead the marketing effectiveness team and agency account teams ensuring clear understanding of the brand’s strategic objectives and priorities and leveraging training and development on the technologies and platforms to optimise team effectiveness. Furthermore, you will work closely with your stakeholders across Brand, Social, Retail, Customer Service and Operational teams to identify trends and insights, providing support for the implementation of commercial opportunities, new product development concepts and customer satisfaction projects.

Who are we looking for?
A true leader with an analytical and commercially focussed mind that will enable us to draw up on insights and data to inform our day to day marketing strategy.

You will be degree educated in a relevant marketing/digital field and have extensive experience in a similar role evaluating, implementing and utilising marketing technology tools, customer data platforms, attribution techniques and campaign analytics tools to drive marketing effectiveness. Additionally, you will have experience in financial and statistical modelling and data visualisation to establish critical metrics, dashboards and performance measures.

Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Tag Manager – you’ve done it all! Additionally, you will be experienced in the use of data querying software or languages (including SQL / Tableau) and have a solid understanding of technology platforms, including website and CRM and email broadcasting tools.

You will be a no stranger to online marketing practices and a full mix of digital media planning (PPC, SEO, Affiliates, Paid Social, Retargeting, Email, etc.) along with basic HTML skills. Needless to say, you will be well read in all things GDPR!
