Calling all wordsmiths! Have you got a passion for words and an obsessive eye for detail?

We’re looking for a talented Copywriter with a truly customer focused approach to join our in-house creative team and help us share the best of botanical beauty with customers across the globe. Writing content for teams across the business, the Copywriter must have experience in SEO and writing for digital platforms. Whether it’s in-store visual merchandising or an email newsletter, as a Copywriter your aim will be to engage and delight both new and existing customers alike. With our unique brand story, expertise in all things naturally active and the ‘No.1 cleanser in the UK’, this is an exciting opportunity to build a career in a business that is truly special!

So, what is this role all about?
First and foremost, you’ll be responsible for creating, editing and proofreading copy across all channels, ensuring that it is consistent across internal and external communications and always reflects the Liz Earle tone of voice and our unique brand values. This includes working to tight deadlines and established processes to provide a first-class service to your internal customers, building effective relationships and helping to advise on all aspects of copywriting. To keep us ahead of the game, you will also have a continuous awareness of competitor activity and trends, making sure that all copy remains relevant whilst simultaneously being true to our brand. Reporting to our Digital Content & Editorial Manager and based in the London King’s Place office, some travel to The Green House HQ, Isle of Wight will be required.

An experienced Copywriter with excellent writing and editing skills gained ideally within the beauty, lifestyle or fashion industry. You are a creative and critical thinker who can adapt well to any copywriting task and have experience in SEO and writing for digital platforms. You are passionate about words and customer service and quick to grasp concepts. You are also able to manage and prioritise your own workload and work well under pressure, taking pride in your work and the work of your teammates.
