We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Business Partner to undertake a newly created role of Manager within our Global Market Strategy & Planning (MS&P) team for skincare across Liz Earle and our Global Brands partners. If you have a background in Beauty Retail or FMCG within a commercial role including business insights and analysis this could mean you are perfect for this role. So, what is this role all about?
In this role you’ll be responsible for skincare category across Liz Earle, Soap & Glory, Botanics, YourGoodSkin and Tea Tree & Witch Hazel.
As a newly formed team, MS&P operate as the commercial partners to the global marketing teams, who are responsible for developing new products and plans for regions. The team focus on supporting Product, Marketing and Finance to build plans and initiatives that are financially sufficient, commercially compelling, priced to win and retailer ready, to ensure we maximise profit and sales for ourselves and our retail partners.
Day to day you will be responsible for evaluation and sign-off of new product business cases to ensure they are accurate and deliver more value year on year. You’ll also undertake commercial story telling within new product development to ensure our regional teams can understand the proposition and successfully sell in to retailers. Additionally, you’ll be re-engineering our global price and promotion plans, ensuring they are fit for our regional partners and have guardrails to ensure brand positioning and growth. With your expertise in all things commercial, insights and analysis, you’ll also be focussed on managing and reducing our global excess and obsolete stock through efficient product life cycle management. Being a newly formed team, you’ll also be developing best practice and commercial processes and tools. You’ll be working cross functionally, supporting the shaping of our brands 3-year plans and defining the commercial and operational growth drivers while ensuring alignment with business goals.

A highly agile commercial business partner with broad commercial and analytical skillset combined with a background in beauty retail/ skincare or FMCG. Experienced in the use of data to define commercial assumptions and decision making, you’ll provide advice to the business and drive value creation. You have a collaborative yet consultative approach and build relationships with ease. Inquisitive, you seek to understand and have the ability communicate concise finding and propose commercial solutions that align with long term strategy and plans. A commercial gatekeeper for business cases across NPD, you have the gravitas to influence decisions and the required leadership skills to steer cross functional projects.
