We can’t help but smile when receiving a thoughtful gift, especially ones that come wrapped beautifully. However, more and more we have to ask the question – what next for the pretty packaging once the moment has passed? Not one to throw things away, we consulted our Brand Ambassador Caroline Archer, who’s been getting crafty giving her gift boxes from the Spirit of Sharing Collection a second life.
I’m passionate about my girls’ future and one of the small things that we try to do at home (as well as joining climate marches), is to reuse, reduce and recycle – it’s become our mantra. With this in mind, I’d like to share how I’ve reused some of the beautiful Spirit of Sharing Collection gift boxes, rather than throwing them away.
I’ve repurposed one box for all my girls’ ribbons and hair accessories and an empty Cleanse & Polish™ Limited Edition gift canister to store their paint brushes.
Of course, the classic blue gift box is the perfect home for my Liz Earle accessories – this one lives in my bathroom.
Don’t forget that our corn starch packing chips that come inside every online order can be dissolved in water (great fun for the little ones) and are biodegradable.
How have you reused your gift packaging? Please share your ideas with me on Twitter @calizearle so I can retweet to inspire others. I know some of you are teachers who use these boxes for wonderful school creations which I’d love to see.
I can’t wait to see what you come up with…
