As the temperature rises, so does the risk of melty make up, shiny skin and lacklustre locks. Don’t let summer’s heat and humidity sabotage your beauty look. Invest in the right products to brave the surf, sun and sand.

Hydration boost

We all know there’s a fine line between skin that’s subtly glowing and skin that’s a shiny, sweaty mess. But, don’t be tempted to skip moisturiser altogether. Instead use Skin Repair™ Light Moisturiser morning and evening to deliver just the right amount of hydration. Apply onto slightly damp skin after toning with Instant Boost™ Skin Tonic – you can even finish with a skin-quenching spray from our special Instant Boost™ spritzer for an extra veil of moisture.

Exfoliate, gently

Harsh scrubs can often leave your skin feeling more sensitive. Instead, exfoliate and buff your way to radiantly soft skin with our Gentle Face Exfoliator. This smoothing trouble-shooter contains spherical jojoba beads that are kind to nature as well as your skin. Simply apply to clean skin and massage in with your fingertips before rinsing off with warm water.

Shine control

Choose a base cover that will stand up to the make up-melting sun. Liquid foundation can tend to slip and slide as the day goes on, so swap it for a powder with a matte finish

Oil up

Frequent swimming and long periods in the sun can damage your hair, drying it out and causing colour to fade. To help protect your strands from the heat of the sun (and decrease drying time), work in a few drops of Botanical Shine™ Nourishing Hair Oil after your dip in the pool – it will also smooth, condition and add shine, helping keep your locks looking lush and healthy all summer long.

Defrizz fast

To reduce frizz and flyaways, limit the use of heat tools during summer, and switch to a gentle shampoo and conditioner that feature naturally derived cleansers – such as our Botanical Shine™ haircare range. Our conditioner for dry or damaged hair is perfect for the job – colour-safe, silicone-free and specially formulated with  Kalahari melon oil  and West African shea butter, it will leave your locks under control, as well as enviably soft and smooth.

Perfect pedi

Pamper those fabulous feet so they’re set for sandal season with a DIY pedicure. Treat yourself to a foot soak, scrub with a pumice stone, then lather on Foot Repair™ Moisturiser, enriched with shea butter, avocado and wheatgerm oils. Gently massage in upward strokes, focusing on your heels and any rough patches to leave your feet seriously ready for sandals in no time.
