As the Visual Merchandising Manager, we are looking for an individual with a vision that reflects this market. You must be able to think creatively and be a great project manager by juggling different priorities, and delivering on time and to budget. You will support the Senior Visual Merchandising Manager and should also be able to coach & motivate Assistant Visual Merchandisers on your team.

You will own and oversee in-store execution and support the Visual Merchandising Assets Assistant to deliver the monthly merchandising initiatives for all channels. You will be expected to take a hands-on approach to the execution of launches, counters, store openings and promotions with visit.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution and implementation of all visual merchandising activities in line with our annual IAP calendar, ensuring that the brand is represented in a consistent, premium way across Liz Earle stores and 3rd party channels.
  • Work cross functionally to ensure campaigns are delivered to highlight innovation and key promotional activity, to deliver retail and service expectations.
  • Allow time to mystery shop competitor campaigns and brainstorm ideas for each major activation and share with the Brand team.
  • Support the Brand, Retail and PR teams through set ups and events when needed.
  • Work with the VM Assets Assistant to ensure the graphics are relevant and complementary to the planograms and location of products on counter that month.
  • Ensure flawless communication with suppliers and manage change of direction with outstanding negotiation skills.
  • Educate and train in-store staff on VM standards through coordinating teams store visits and training, driving consistency and high standards, partnering with the Service & Education and Retail Area Managers Teams where appropriate.
  • Assist the Senior Visual Merchandising Manager in creating, communicating and implementing a detailed CPA for 2018 launches.
  • Provide on-going field visits to ensure perfect implementation of merchandising guidelines.

Who are we looking for?

  • A minimum 3 years work experience in a Head Office based Visual Merchandising role.
  • Passion and interest for the beauty industry required. Excellent eye for design and detail, understands the importance of aesthetic quality.
  • Organisational agility and great project management skills required to drive creation and implementation of Visual Merchandising kits.
  • Ability to identify and exploit all opportunities in a dynamic multi-channel, multi-category business. Thrives on measurable objectives and tangible results.
  • A flexible communication style to gain best results, informing and motivating stores teams through clear and timely communications and strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Has the ability to stay calm under pressure and keep a positive attitude at all times, while prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (esp. Excel); and Photoshop is a must, familiar with Illustrator preferable.
