As Retail Resource Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for delivering a timely recruitment service across Retail Recruitment including John Lewis, Boots, Direct Stores and Boutiques. You will be focussed on delivering a seamless candidate journey attracting and engaging exceptional talent to our brand in partnership with your retail stakeholders in the field.

Main responsibilities:

Working within a fast-paced transactional retail recruitment environment you will be delivering a full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening, to offers utilising multiple medias to attract quality talent to our vacancies. You will build and maintain relationships with your internal stakeholders on the field working closely with Area Managers and Counter Managers. Additionally, you will work closely with your wider HR team counterparts to deliver a seamless recruitment and onboarding service that enhances the candidate experience and protects and builds the employer brand at all times through consistency and fairness of the process.

You will be working within the parameters of established KPIs, Service Level Agreements and recruitment metrics, managing a high caseload of retail vacancies whilst being focussed on quality. Additionally, you will be organising and delivering value add recruitment services such as candidate attraction events and assessment centres where required. Furthermore, you will engage with external recruitment agency partners as necessary to source additional candidates for hard to fill vacancies.

Working within a team of recruiters you will ensure all activity is tracked, recorded and communicated appropriately ensuring information is live and accurate at all times.

Who are we looking for?

To be successful for the role you will have some previous experience in a Recruitment Resource or Recruitment Advisor capacity, either within an agency or inhouse, in a fast-paced transactional recruitment environment. You will be a positive and self-motivated individual with excellent communication and influencing skills along with the confidence to build and maintain relationships with hiring managers. You will be a natural organiser with the ability to manage conflicting priorities efficiently while remaining unflustered under pressure. This includes educating and influencing internal and external stakeholders to facilitate and manage the recruitment process. An excellent telephone manner is absolutely essential as you will be delivering a high volume of weekly telephone based screening activity to shortlist candidates for face-to-face interviews with line managers. Additionally, you will have a good command of Microsoft Outlook diary to book and co-ordinate all interview activity along with competency across Word and Excel. You will thrive in an environment that allows you to own your area of responsibility whilst working closely with the wider team to ensure consistency of recruitment offering nationally.
