Working closely with other members of the IT Support team, you will provide a fast, efficient, friendly and first class service to the business, supporting all our IT systems and applications. This includes fulfilling service requests, resolving incidents, trouble-shooting problems as well as routine operational tasks.
As well as outstanding technical skills and experience gained in a similar position, you will be passionate about IT and the contribution it makes to the business.

Job description
Main responsibilities:
- Provide a superb level of service to the business.
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support to office based and remote users via telephone of VPN connections.
- Provide out of hours support on a shared, flexible rota basis with other team members.
- Take ownership of all received requests through to resolution, where necessary passing problems to 2nd or 3rd line teams.
- Log and maintain requests and incidents in the helpdesk system.
- Assist with problem analysis of service incidents.
- Work within tight schedules and deadlines.
Experience and skills
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills:
- Experience in a similar position.
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of:
- Microsoft Windows XP/Windows 7.
- Knowledge of MS Office 2007/2010.
- LAN/WAN Networking (including good understanding of TCP/IP).
- Wireless Networking.
- Windows Server 2003/2008.
- Apple MAC OS and integration with a Windows environment.
