Solutions Delivery Manager
Isle of Wight

We are looking for an IT professional to lead the development and delivery of IT software and solutions to support the operational needs of the business.

You will be responsible for managing the design implementation, testing and documentation of multiple concurrent projects.

You will have extensive experience of managing the full software development lifecycle with proven management experience, to lead, motivate and inspire the team.

Job description

Main responsibilities:

• Management and optimisation of the full software development lifecycle ensuring applications are aligned to business needs.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with key stakeholders throughout the business.
• Work with the IT Management team to prioritise and resource plan in line with the current and future application needs of the business.
• Work with the IT Architect to ensure solutions comply with architectural standards.
• Ensure that appropriate procedures and process are in place and adhered to.
• Work with IT operations to ensure acceptance and the smooth delivery of IT projects.

Experience and skills

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills:

• Extensive experience managing the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience in software development methodologies, ideally SCRUM.
• Strong technical background with extensive software design and development skills.
• Proven management experience.
• Must possess excellent analytical, organisational and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with e-Commerce, PCI-DSS and other retail legislation preferred.
